Two-piece MDPE connection kit for plumbers, irrigation installers and tradespeople who want reliable, space-conscious connections. It combines an extended S60X6 BSPF adaptor with a 25mm MDPE tee to simplify branching and extensions in MDPE systems. What’s in the kit
- 1 x S60X6 Female - 1" BSPF Adaptor Extended (IBC-EX-S60X6-1BSPF)
- 1 x MDPE Tee 25mm – 1” BSPM (MDPETEE25-1BSPM) S60X6 Female - BSPF Adaptor Extended
This extended adaptor is a female British Standard Pipe Fitting thread designed to mate with matching BSPF components. Made from durable plastic, it’s built to withstand field use and varying environments. The extended body provides extra protrusion from the mounting surface, improving access in cramped spaces and reducing risk of damaging threads during installation. Its design supports quick, reliable connections in water, irrigation and other fluid-transfer applications, with compatibility across MDPE systems where a 1" BSPF thread is required. MDPE Tee 25mm – 1” BSPM
The MDPE tee enables a 90-degree branch from a 25mm MDPE line while maintaining a 1" BSPM connection on the branch. MDPE PN10 fittings are rated to withstand up to 10 bar (approximately 145 psi), offering a robust option for water supply, irrigation and light industrial use. The compression-style connections provide a leak-tight seal without needing specialist tooling. The MDPE material offers flexibility, chemical resistance and suitability for outdoor or exposed installations, helping to reduce maintenance over time. Key benefits and use cases
- Ideal for space-constrained installations where a longer adaptor aids alignment and prevents cross-threading.
- Suitable for MDPE water supply, irrigation networks and small-scale fluid transfer projects.
- Provides a reliable branch and extension solution without complex fittings or tools.
- PN10-rated components support typical domestic and light industrial pressures. Installation notes
PTFE tape may be required to achieve a watertight seal on BSP threads (sold separately). When assembling, ensure threads are clean and dry, tighten by hand first, then snug with a suitable wrench. Check all joints for leaks after filling the system.
