Engineered with advanced High Polymer technology, this base coat delivers enhanced flexibility, providing a solid foundation for thin coat organic resin renders like Silicone TC.
Ideal for both residential and commercial applications, HP14 can be hand or machine applied, making it versatile for different project needs. To further improve durability and minimise the risk of cracks, it's recommended to use Alkali Resistant Reinforcing Mesh at stress points such as window and door reveals.
For an even, uniform surface, the product can be applied using a straight edge or Darby. With a thickness of 4-6mm on insulation substrates, the HP14 Base Coat ensures excellent coverage, with a rate of approximately 8-11kg per square metre.
Fully compliant with BS EN 998-1, the HP14 Base Coat boasts a compressive strength of CS IV and a water absorption rating of W2, offering long-lasting protection against the elements. Additionally, its thermal conductivity value of 0.46 P=50% makes it an ideal component of energy-efficient render systems.
